Job Requirements:
This position is responsible for performing a variety of data management and general finance support tasks in the Budgets and Rates department. This is a support role dealing largely with customers who are other internal employees. This role will be responsible for implementing reporting tools to manage data to facilitate budgets and rates and cost management decisions.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain/Enhance data dashboards to monitor indirect labor charging and indirect budgets
- Establish and maintain a process to reconcile current forecast information with indirect overhead rates
- Align indirect labor charging to streamline indirect charge numbers and allow for consistent and meaningful comparison of the charging and nature of the indirect tasks
- Enhance reporting methods utilizing reporting tools (such as PowerBi) to facilitate meaningful and user-friendly cost monitoring
- Review internal invoices for appropriate coding.
- Prepare annual Perimeter Cost report to facilitate analysis of controllable manufacturing costs
- Other finance and administrative tasks will also be required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires strong knowledge of job area. Typically viewed as having a specialty within discipline. May have broad knowledge of project management. Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Proficient in Excel
- Proficient in PowerBI
Preferred Skills (beyond required):
- Strong customer service approach, self-directed, assertive, with a positive attitude
- Careful attention to detail and follow-through
- SAP experience (preferred)
- Applicants must either have demonstrated previous experience in finance/accounting OR experience building models analyzing large volumes of data
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $58K - $108K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
