Job Description:
L3Harris is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Software Engineer to join our team. This position will be based at our Greenville, TX facility and offers a 9/80 schedule.
Essential Functions:
- 3+ years of object-oriented development experience using C++.
- Design, implement, and integrate software in a Linux Environment.
- Utilize scripting languages such as Python.
- Perform software coding and debugging, perform software unit tests, and integrate software components.
- Ability to analyze requirements and design tradeoffs against scope, cost, and schedule constraints.
- Support continuous improvement, process innovation, and lessons learned activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to obtain a Secret and TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience in Design Patterns and Frameworks.
- Experinece in Software Unit Testing.
- Development experience using Qt.
- Experience with Dockers/Containers with Orchestration.
- Proficient in Java development.
- Familiarity with programming in various JS frameworks.
- Agile development and DevOps Experience.
- Able to communicate effectively and work closely with assigned software team.
- Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
