Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Information Security Systems Engineer to join our Sensor Infrastructure team.  The ideal candidate possesses experience with vulnerability scanning, compliance, and documentation.  Familiarity with requirements writing, Security Impact Assessments (SIA), and preparation of technical briefing material is a plus!

Essential Functions:

  • Work cross-functionally to ensure security requirements are addressed throughout the mission system development lifecycle.
  • Perform security compliance scans, vulnerability analysis, and drive identified issues resolution.
  • Develop and maintain ATO Body of Evidence artifacts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Experience with classified media handling, marking, and control.
  • Experience with Windows, LINUX, and UNIX-based and how to secure operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Risk Management Framework and NIST publications.
  • Current Active Secret clearance with capability for TS/SCI.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Ability to write policies and procedures for security-related documents such as SSP, Vulnerability Plan, Continuous Monitoring Plan, etc…
  • Desired Technical skills include experience or proficiency with Linux administration, Bash scripting, Windows PowerShell, Windows administration, Nessus, Wireshark, Nmap.
  • Candidate should understand basic networking and network diagrams.
  • Certifications - Sec+, CySA, CASP, CISSP.
  • TS/SCI and CI Poly strongly preferred.
