About the role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Technical Solutions Architect to support the investigation and pursuit development of new business opportunities. Working closely with the Business Development Director and key technical and commercial stakeholders, the Technical Solutions Architect will design, propose and create implementations plans for solutions that are robust, secure, scalable and tailorable to clients’ needs. Developing and maintaining trusted relationships/partnerships, both internal and external, will be a critical to growing L3Harris IMSA’s position within the defence industry ecosystem.

The remit of this role is challenging and diverse. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, your activities will be centred around understanding and analysing business objectives, client needs and technical challenges, in order to develop efficient, reliable and scalable solutions, that both meet project requirements and align with the business’s strategic roadmap. Day to day will included but not be limited to; leading requirement definition sessions, translating conceptual needs in defined architectures, preparing review presentations & artefacts, creating & maintaining architecture documentation, assisting with development of technology product roadmap and providing general solution advisory to established clients.

About you

To be successful in this role and to best leverage the opportunities provided by L3Harris, some skills & experience ideal applicants will bring include;

  • Tertiary qualifications in either a business or technical field
  • Proven experience in engineering solution development and related methodologies
  • Experience in the Defence domain is advantageous
  • Demonstrated trusted relationship building and networking experience
  • Conversant with succinct brief writing and delivery of corporate presentations
  • Highly developed analysis and inferencing capabilities
  • Successful history in similarly complex engineering environments
