Job Description:

Experienced Project Manager professional to lead the maintenance and support teams located on Fort Derrick in support of the WSOTS II Program. This person should be self-sufficient at working with general supervision, be detail-oriented, task-minded, and able to work within set deadlines. The candidate should possess strong communication skills as interactions within L3Harris and the local and external customers occur daily.

Essential Functions:

• Ensure performance of operational support functions and operational assistance to the site personnel
• Provide operations support, technical assistance, and training to user personnel in operations, maintenance, fault diagnosis, IA, and repair of systems and equipment by the resident on-site personnel
• Facilitate operations and technical site support
• Provide daily communications with Program Manager, Field Services Manager, and SME
• Ensure provision of technical and engineering support and on-site shift coverage and/or on-call response operational and maintenance support for the on-site systems
• Ensure training is conducted as required. Ensures compliance for foreign operations and foreign Government requirements for employees
• Ensure compliance with SOFA, ITAR and TAA requirements, and MOU between the U.S. and supported foreign countries
• Ensure IA support provides system administration and IA subject matter expertise and support functions to enable WSOMS to comply with the Army’s transformation of Information Systems and IA requirements
• Ensure the database and system administration functions are properly performed
• Perform OJT and informal training support as required
• Identifies program risks and captures and develops mitigation plan

Qualifications:

Must Possess an Active Top Secret Clearance

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
• 10 years of Military SATCOM experience on network control or Earth Terminal (ET) O&M
• Experience in the use of IT tools for managing and troubleshooting complex computer networks
• Ability to direct, monitor, and review all on-site contractor performance and mission support
• Ability to act as liaison between field personnel and the WSOTS II Program Office
• Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, tactics, and employees within a team
• Typically has strong knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization
• IA certification in compliance with DoD 8570

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of WSOMS Domain
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• WSOC mission system experience
• Knowledge of configuration Management

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $84,500 - $157,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
