L3Harris Training Systems play a key role on delivering the L3Harris Commercial Aviation Solutions mantra of ‘Creating Safer Skies’. We’re seeking a Systems Engineering Manager to join our team in Greater London and play a critical part in developing state-of-the-art flight simulators that push the boundaries of aerospace simulation technology.

• Lead and inspire a team of world-class engineers in designing and delivering flight simulation systems for the aerospace industry.

• Drive process development and governance, ensuring the highest standards in quality, efficiency, and compliance.

• Champion engineering tools and methodologies, enhancing performance and scalability.

• Play a pivotal role in team development, nurturing talent and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

What You’ll Bring:

 • Proven experience in systems engineering management, preferably in aerospace or high-tech environments.

• Expertise in process development, governance, and tools for complex engineering systems.

• A strategic mindset with a passion for developing high-performing teams.

• Strong leadership and communication skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Systems Engineering Manager in a leadership role within mission critical manufacuturing industries.

• Strong knowledge of systems and software development lifecycles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Expertise in mission-critical systems development, with a focus on aerospace standards.

• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects from concept through to delivery.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

• Knowledge of flight simulation technology or avionics software is highly desirable.
