Job Description:
The Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment of L3Harris is currently seeking an experienced Lead, Program Manager at our Camden, AR facility. The Program Manager will directs all phases of programs from proposal development through completion. Drive program execution to achieve business and financial objectives for orders, revenue, profit, and cash flow for an existing product line in continuous production. Responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance for designated program. Act as primary customer contact for program activities, leading review sessions with customers for all aspects of proposal development, negotiations, and execution. Lead program support, production, and supply chain teams to ensure on time and on budget deliveries.
Essential Functions:
Works under general supervision with responsibility for entire project or process within the job area. Works with Project Managers to complete program goals and objectives.
Communicates with contacts within and outside organization (e.g. customers, suppliers, etc.) for execution of the program objectives
Responsible for managing the cost and schedule of their programs to ensure its financial well-being.
Work alongside financial team for requirements of financial, manpower, and supply chain forecasting, reporting, and variance justification
Responsible for directing and monitoring/updating program integrated master schedule (IMS) and overall program plan
Responsible for briefing customer and upper management on all facets of the program. Frequent customer and management interaction.
Leads new business pursuits for continuous production activities within the project area working with departments to define all costs associated with future business.
Up to 15% business travel to other L3Harris and customer sites.
Ability to obtain US Secret Security Clearence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant program management experience, Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of related program management experience, or 16 years of prior related program management experience in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience with DoD contract execution.
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Project, Excel, Powerpoint, Word).
Working knowledge of general production systems/methods and lean manufacturing principles.
Experience with Earned Value Management system application.
