L3Harris is also a market leader in the development,build and integration of systems for a wide range of unmanned marine vehicles with military and commercial applications. What the role will involve
The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
- Leadership of the project managers assigned to the portfolio of projects
- Senior Customer POC
- Financial, delivery and customer satisfaction performance against in year and strategic objectives
- Responsible for annual goals of £30M sales, return of 25% Net Margin, £5M orders,100% OTD
- Capture responsibility for New and Follow-On Business Opportunities
- Responsible for the professional conduct of project management activities within the company
- Responsible for the development and implementation of companywide Project Management processes
What you’ll bring
The role of Head of Programmes requires the following experience and skills:
- Implementation and delivery of robust project governance
- Ability to rapidly process project data to deliver data driven decisions, EVM, SRA etc
- Strong communications skills, regular senior briefings of project reports and senior customer stakeholder reviews
- Work with PMO to set up and maintain performance metrics including finance, deliver, risk and change that inform emerging problems
- Collaboratively develop solutions that are acceptable to all stakeholders
- Participate in business transformation activities to improve performance and deliver improved Net Margin across the project portfolio
- Lead the project managers to develop their capabilities to meet current and future business needs
- Apply experience and knowledge to support Business development and growth
- Succession planning & team motivation
