Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a detail-oriented Specialist to assist in the execution of its total rewards plans, reporting to the Senior Manager of Equity Compensation at CHQ.  This individual will apply a high-level of expertise to proactively administer L3Harris total reward plans, including equity compensation, broad-based compensation, global mobility and rewards & recognition, including, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities:

Equity Compensation

  • Complete ongoing reconciliation of equity data and equity administration recordkeeping at Fidelity
  • Create and analyze “what happens when” equity scenarios upon request from internal stakeholders, including the L3Harris Compensation Council segment representatives; assist with automation of equity scenario planning
  • Review daily equity transactions related to terminations and option exercises
  • Flawlessly execute deliverables related to timely file loads and vendor data feeds, ensuring seamless integration with internal systems/stakeholders to correctly reflect employee data and equity details
  • Assist with the issuance of annual and off-cycle grants, including the distribution of award documents and monitoring of grant acceptance
  • Compile, analyze, and prepare Proxy related information and tables
  • Administer quiet periods, blackouts, preclearance trading and 10b5-1 plans
  • Maintain SOX compliance and internal documentation for SOX controls and other audit requirements/support documentation
  • Develop ad hoc, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to support public filings (e.g., Form 3, Form 4, share reconciliation, etc.)
  • Interact with Transfer Agent (ComputerShare) to execute: 401(k) share repurchasing; LHX share repurchasing; shares outstanding funding letters; and share plan balancing
  • Oversee dividend payment process
  • Assist with the Board of Directors deferred equity program execution
  • Review and respond to e-mails sent to Equity Team inbox
  • Assist with root-cause analysis, as needed, and make recommendations for and assist with resolution

Broad-based Compensation

  • Assist the CHQ Broad-based Compensation team to ensure consistent, equitable, and market reflective application of company compensation philosophy while balancing unique regional and company-specific regulations and practices
  • Apply quantitative compensation analyses, data mining, and the presentation of data to help inform, influence, support, and execute L3Harris business decisions, including preparation and summary results of the annual salary planning process
  • Analyze trends in L3Harris compensation practices, such as pay position and pay equity, and build intelligence through reporting, offering recommendations and assistance with implementing changes
  • Ability to make independent decisions and recommendations based on compensation principles and philosophy
  • Assist with completion of survey participation and subsequent uploading to MarketPay database
  • Assist with root-cause analysis, as needed, and make recommendations for and assist with resolution


  • Assist the CHQ Global Mobility team with the implementation and execution of mobility programs and services supporting employee short- and long-term transfers, assignments, and domestic or international relocation
  • Design and prepare management reports to support administration of mobility programs, including the preparation of quarterly global mobility spend reporting
  • Contribute thought leadership for domestic and international mobility programs, such as best practice reviews, trends, benchmarking, gap assessments and policy change recommendations
  • Assist with root-cause analysis, as needed, and make recommendations for and assist with resolution
  • Update standard work documents, as needed

Rewards & Recognition

  • Assist the CHQ Rewards & Recognition team with the implementation and execution of programs and services to recognize, inspire, share and engage L3Harris employees
  • Design and prepare management reports to support administration of reward & recognition programs, including the preparation of quarterly spend reporting
  • Update standard work documents, as needed
  • Conduct benchmarking exercises and assist with RFPs related to reward & recognition programs and service providers
  • Assist with root-cause analysis, as needed, and make recommendations for and assist with resolution


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to varying audiences
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and functional areas, including accounting, payroll, tax, legal and other compensation partners/leadership
  • Develop and maintain standard work documents
  • Timely resolve employee issues or concerns, as appropriate
  • Perform other responsibilities and complete various projects within compensation, global mobility, and award recognition programs, as assigned


  • Bachelor's Degree required in Accounting, Finance or related field of study and 4 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with 2 years of prior related experience
  • 2 years or more of experience in a global equity compensation environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Fidelity Stock Plan Services platform
  • Experience in U.S. public company equity compensation administration, including global equity plans, complex plans containing performance share awards, restricted stock unit awards, stock options, etc.
  • Advanced Excel, financial, analytical, and presentation skills
