About Aeromet
L3Harris -Aeromet is a Division of Integrated Mission Systems Segment with its main office is located in Tulsa, OK. L3Harris-Aeromet is established within the DoD Community as the developer and operator of special mission ISR systems. We provide special mission system design, modification, and operations with emphasis on the development and integration of state-of-the-art EO/IR sensor systems.
Job Description:
Responsible for the following:
- Executes all aspects of Risk Management with the respective Program Management Office(s) (PMO) such as preparing meeting agenda’s, meeting preparation (including risk “sprints” with project risk owners), chairing the Risk Review Board meeting, and distributing meeting minutes, etc.
- Ensures all programs are in compliance with the program-created documentation and requirements such as AS9100 and CMMI as well as customer expectations and deliverables.
- Secures adherence to risk management reporting requirements with the PMOs in line with contractual, government and corporate guidelines.
- Maintains risk management software and associated systems.
- Performs risk analysis on the collected data to provide the programs new insights.
- Develops and coordinates the framework for risk identification, analysis, and mitigation in alignment with each program’s Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Executes each program’s lifecycle Risk, Issue and Organizational (RIO) Management.
- Ensure Risk Management processes are in compliance with all auditing and schedule analyses (critical path, resources, etc) with respect to RIO.
Essential Functions:
- Work effectively and efficiently in a virtual environment with tools such as MS Teams, Zoom, etc.
- Establish metrics that measure the effectiveness of RIO Management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as a member of a multi-disciplined integrated product team.
Qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (Engineering, Physics, Technical Leadership) and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- 2-4 years’ experience using Sword Active Risk Management (ARM) or a comparable Risk Management Software tool such as Risk Radar.
- 2-4 years’ experience using desktop software applications such as MS Office Tools (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and other productivity tools such as SnagIt.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Knowledge and experience in the Aerospace/Defense sector.
- Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) contracting and risk reporting requirements.
- Knowledge of databases and data mining.
- Experience working under an AS9100 / ISO9001 Quality Management System.
