This type of scam is normally carried out through fake websites, job postings, chat applications, or email accounts claiming to be from L3Harris. To help spot these scams, remember that during our formal recruitment process, L3Harris will NOT (1) ask you for money; (2) offer to send you a check before doing any work; (3) require you to provide sensitive personal information early in the process or sensitive information about your previous employer; (4) send you emails from free commercial services (e.g. Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail).

Skills and Competencies We Look For
We look for a variety of experiences and skills for our team - from understanding aircraft technical publications, flight-line operations, schematic diagrams or engine riggings to airframes, fuel systems, and electrical systems to custom metal fabrication.
We also regularly hire for hydraulic/pneumatic systems, powerplant/propulsion maintenance, fuel cell maintenance, heavy structural repair/modification and even upholstery/interior finish.
We look for mechanics, assemblers and systems engineers who possess and strong understanding of FAA certification guidelines.
We’re also looking for people who can learn, understand and contribute to the design and operation of complex interrelated subsystems and subassemblies, design, development, test, and integration of complex, specialized hardware/software systems installed on airborne and ground-based ISR platforms.
If you are able to identify the following within your own inventory of skills and experiences, we would be thrilled if you joined others like you in our talent community.
- Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience working as an aircraft mechanic, performing various tasks (either as an aircraft electrician, aircraft sheet metal worker, or aircraft systems mechanic). (2 years credit for FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant License).
- Must be able to become Product Quality Verification (PQV) Level I certified within 180 calendar days.
