Job Title: Senior Associate, Inventory Control Analyst

Job Description:

  • Under limited supervision, this position will provide detailed analytical support to Inventory Management and the Planning team in making strategic decisions.
  • Will be responsible for executing the cycle count program, resolving discrepancies, and providing support and analysis for budgets, actual results and forecasts.
  • Assist with various projects, as needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through execution of our cycle count program including training and monitoring cycle counters.
  • Analyze inventory policies and identify any deficiencies and inefficiencies, make correctional recommendations and oversee their implementation.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies including root cause analysis.
  • Enter inventory transactions in ERP system as required.
  • Maintain warehouse layout and stocking locations: Racks/labeling/ERP location maintenance.  
  • Maintain and publish weekly and monthly KPI metrics.
  • Monitor Safety Stock and min-max levels and update as needed based on usage history or product line changes
  • Review MRP output of safety stock items to ensure accuracy of requirements, and release planned purchase orders to Purchasing based on material requirements.
  • Expedite component requirements with Purchasing.
  • Participate in Lean Six Sigma improvement projects.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field of study with at least two years’ relevant experience.
  • Experience with MRP or ERP business systems.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills and be able to perform detailed data analysis and recommend solutions based on findings.
  • Keen attention to detail is required.
  • APICS Certification or Education.
