Job Title: Senior Analyst EVMS Compliance

Job Code: Level 5

Job Location: Salt Lake City, Utah USA-UT-Salt Lake City

Relocation to the Salt Lake City, UT area is not required, but highly desirable. Must be able to travel domestically on short notice. Travel can be up to 25%, or more at times. Relocation will be offered and considered on a case by case basis.

The EVMS Compliance Senior Analyst will be key member of the of the EVMS Tools and Compliance group. The successful candidate will manage the EVMS training plan including the preparation of and conducting the training. They will be a key interface with DCMA for EVMS Compliance Reviews and will prepare program teams for Integrated Baseline Reviews. In addition they will coordinate and conduct internal EVMS Surveillance Reviews to ensure compliance to the 32 guidelines as well as audit program EACs for EVMS and SOX Compliance. Mentor program cost and schedule analysts on the proper implementation and use of Earned Value. They will also be expected to perform program data analysis to identify trends that are candidates for additional training or process improvements. This position will also involve briefing executive management on the status of EVMS Compliance and process improvements. This position relies on the ability to create and build relationships with internal and external customers.

Essential Functions:

  • Direct and manage the EVMS training plan including preparation of and conducting training.
  • Being the chief interface with DCMA for EVMS Compliance Reviews.
  • Preparing program teams for Integrated Baseline Reviews.
  • Coordinate and conduct internal EVMS Surveillance Reviews to ensure compliance to the 32 guidelines.
  • Auditing and presenting program EACs to ensure EVMS and SOX Compliance
  • Mentor program cost and schedule analysts on the proper implementation and use of Earned Value.
  • Present and perform program data analysis to identify trends that are candidates for additional training or process improvements.
  • Able to create and build relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to obtain or already have a security clearance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, or a related field.
  • 10 years of professional experience in data analysis, with experience in EVMS analysis, weapon system cost, or business system cost analysis.
  • 10 years professional experience with EVMS Software, such as Cobra, wInsight, Empower, and PM Compass or other industry EVMS toolsets.
  • 10 years professional experience with SOX compliance audits and protocols. Includes leading SOX audits.
  • 5 years professional experience coordinating and interfacing with DCMA audits and auditors.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Masters Degree and 8 years EVMS SME level experience
  • Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and related calculations and metrics.
  • EVP certification a plus.
