Job Description:
- Responsible for implementing & maintaining cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting radio communication equipment and systems
- Performs engineering RF/analog/digital measurement tasks as well as operational tests
- Performs fault isolation on all multiple generations of test systems produced by L3Harris
- Uses a variety of test and measurement equipment to evaluate radio equipment performance
- Develop, debug, and optimize test software using National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand
- Implement process improvement ideas into the existing test solutions
- Instruct technicians in conducting an automated test manually on his/her bench
- Ensures department goals & metrics are met from a test perspective
- Update test station documentation items such as MTP’s, Station BOM’s, AMR’s, and TSW’s
- Experience with automation systems including electronic test
- Experience with digital, analog, and RF circuitry troubleshooting
- Understanding of measuring key performance parameters using analyzers, generators, oscilloscopes, and meters
- Understanding of software defined radio products and broadband communications
- Must be a self starter and able to work successfully with minimal supervision
- NI LabVIEW/TestStand development experience (CLAD certification preferred, but not required)
- Able to perform work as an individual and in a small team environment
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
