Job Description:

Responsible for implementing & maintaining cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting radio communication equipment and systems
Performs engineering RF/analog/digital measurement tasks as well as operational tests
Performs fault isolation on all multiple generations of test systems produced by L3Harris
Uses a variety of test and measurement equipment to evaluate radio equipment performance
Develop, debug, and optimize test software using National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand
Implement process improvement ideas into the existing test solutions
Instruct technicians in conducting an automated test manually on his/her bench
Ensures department goals & metrics are met from a test perspective
Update test station documentation items such as MTP’s, Station BOM’s, AMR’s, and TSW’s
Experience with automation systems including electronic test
Experience with digital, analog, and RF circuitry troubleshooting
Understanding of measuring key performance parameters using analyzers, generators, oscilloscopes, and meters
Understanding of software defined radio products and broadband communications
Must be a self starter and able to work successfully with minimal supervision
NI LabVIEW/TestStand development experience (CLAD certification preferred, but not required)
Able to perform work as an individual and in a small team environment

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
