Job Description:
L3Harris is hiring a full-time Program Manager (PM) who has graduated within the last 12 months or who will graduate with a graduate degree by Spring 2023. The PM is responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance related to the scope of the program and will help lead multi-functional teams in the proposal and execution phases of the program.
- Monitor and report status on cost, schedule and deliveries using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) methodology and tools
- Interface with engineering, manufacturing, production control, purchasing, finance, and quality to support on time delivery
- Identify cost reduction opportunities for lean supply chain
- Coordinate with customers to identify opportunities and solutions and provide issue resolution across the program lifecycle, including proposal, production and sustainment
- Support/Lead proposal preparation, statement of work reviews, and cost/schedule estimation
- Provide concise reports to management on status, potential issues/risks, and solution recommendations
- Responsible for ensuring all aspects of the Program Management function are attended to at a Senior Associate level
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration or a technical discipline
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a DoD environment
- Prior Program Management experience
- Earned Value Management System (EVMS) methodology and tools to monitor and report status on program execution
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with IDIQ (Indefinite Quantity) and Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) and vendor pricing agreement is desired.
- Knowledge of UAS data links and SATCOM terminals is desired.
- Experience with FRACAS, trend analysis, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and repair Turn Around Time (TAT) metrics is preferred.
- Experience with Air Force, Army, and/or Classified Program Management is preferred
- An active and current Secret security clearance is preferred
