Job Description:

The Broadband Communications Systems Program Manager Development Program is an accelerated rotational leadership development program designed to attract, develop, and retain future Program Manager talent. This development program will rotate employees through three assignments with each rotation lasting eight months. The program provides participants visibility, diverse experiences, robust training and development geared toward building future PM talent. As part of this program, participants will gain valuable cross-functional process knowledge and broaden their individual skillsets. The program will include mentoring, networking, exposure to leadership as well as formal and on-the-job training with responsibilities tied to cost, schedule, customer satisfaction and follow on program growth.

The program provides exposure to the various functions that PMs work with and need to be skilled in as future leaders. Rotations will include assignments within Program Management, Business Development, and Operations as cornerstone development opportunities. Each rotation will be designed to build business and leadership skills. We are looking for motivated individuals with a strong desire to excel, grow their career, and assume a leadership position within L3Harris.

  • Under the guidance of experienced team members, manages complex programs
  • Conducts extensive investigation to understand root cause of problems
  • Prepares materials for communication and decision making to internal and external customers.
  • Implements strategic goals established by leadership
  • Establishes operational plans for job area with short-term impact on results (e.g., less than 1 year).
  • Achieve milestones related to each rotation
  • Advocate for change and drive trusted disrupter culture
  • Improve proficiency on General Manager competencies


  • In pursuit of a MBA or business related master’s degree
  • GPA of 3.0 or greater

  • Desire to move to a Program Manager or General Manager oriented role after program completion
  • A strong desire and motivation to develop a career as a future leader
