Job Description:
Essential Functions:
• Configure, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot Windows systems (Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Windows MAK, SCCM)
• Licensing knowledge for products such as MATLAB, LabView, Ultra Edit, Ultra Compare
• Familiarity with STIG implementation
• Familiarity with set up and deployment and use of Nessus Scanner
• Familiarity in deploying infrastructure through automation
• Must have a demonstrated detailed understanding of infrastructure virtualization
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), agile system development, and DevSecOps tools and processes
• Familiarity customizing/optimizing/trouble shooting enterprise level applications
• Security administration experience in support of RMF requirements
• Familiarity with continuous integration, build management, and automated test frameworks
• Provide vulnerability remediation actions
• TS/SCI with CI Poly is highly desirable
• Work to be performed 100% on site in Rochester, NY facilities
Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of relevant experience or,
• Secondary/Associates degree and minimum of 8 years relevant experience, or
• Master’s Degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• DOD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification
• Top Secret Clearance with SCI
Preferred Additional Skills:
• Coordinates policies, procedures, and best IT practices with Electrical Engineering and Software Engineering Discipline
• Familiarity in the use of IT tools for managing and troubleshooting complex computer networks
• Knowledge of Program IT design and architecture associated with best practices and processes
• Ability to make complex decisions across the hardware development lifecycle
• Previous experience supporting DoD & IC Government customers
• Familiarity with continuous integration, build management, and/or automated test frameworks
• Hardware/software requirement verification/system validation experience
• Ability to work and grow in a dynamic, fast paced, team-oriented environment
• Familiarity with Virtualization (KVM), Backup Technologies such as NAS, SAN, iSCSI, SAS
• Familiarity with understanding security incidents such as data spills, data integrity and malicious events
• Managing and providing media release and transfer between systems
• Familiarity with Space Systems highly desired
• Managing a help desk type queue for user accounts and security support
• Familiarity in Networking – Cisco, Netgear, basic networking topology
• Familiarity with building out Special Test Equipment environments from the IT side.
• General understanding of RMF, ICD-503, NIST 800-53 and cybersecurity requirements
• Ability to integrate RMF principles into ground-up builds
• Familiarity with continuous integration, build management, and/or automated test frameworks
• Familiarity with testing applications such as Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket
• Familiarity in using and creating LDAP for Windows
• Familiarity deploying open source tools and understanding of issues regarding use
