Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance (Aircraft Electrician with SECRET clearance)

Job Description:

Will perform major and minor scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, IAW military T.O.s, commercial maintenance manuals, and service bulletins of aircraft electrical systems/subsystems, and flight instrument systems. Will provide technical assistance and guidance during aircrew de-briefs and perform towing, marshalling, and positioning of aircraft on flight line. Will perform other related tasks as required in support of engineering, testing, and production for the program.

Essential Functions:

Working knowledge of Periodic Maintenance Information Cards/Maintenance Requirement Cards
Working knowledge of Navy NALCOMIS/OOMA
Managing Compass Calibration, Battery and other related U.S. navy Aviation Electrician programs
Read, interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, T.O specs, and engineering specifications.
Use common hand tools and assemble close tolerance parts
Certified to operate self-propelled vehicles such as forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, aircraft support equipment and towing vehicles.
Successful completion of a flight line physical.
Climb and navigate ladders, stairs, and portable stands
Ability to work in the following environmental conditions: noise, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, chemicals, odor, and dust.
Ability to maneuver up to 50 pounds.
Provide own tools and tools must be etched and shadowed.
Wear approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Work overtime as required and travel up to 25% to support the Mission.

Qualifications:

Aircraft related Associates degree or A&P license with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience or a High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience.
Must have electrical/mechanical experience with P-3, P-8, 737 or other related aircraft experience
Must have a current DoD Secret clearance which requires U.S citizenship and must not possess duel citizenship with another country
