Job Description: L3Harris Corporation is seeking a Specialist, Systems Engineer for the Palm Bay, FL location. This candidate will develop, maintain, and manage MBSE models as part of the digital transformation across the customer space. We are seeking candidates who can participate in the digital transformation through application of MBSE industry best practices, develop MBSE processes and methodologies and apply MBSE experience to deliver effective mission solutions.
Essential Functions:
- Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
- Integrate enterprise tools and develop MBSE-based processes to support requirements engineering, CONOPS and architecture development, test and verification strategy development, and system integration of new initiatives in support of mission capabilities.
- Facilitate collaborative meetings between the MBSE users and the development teams to communicate modeling needs and help innovate potential solutions.
- Ensure the logical and systemic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions which meet technical, schedule, and cost constraints
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Understanding of system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation activities enabled by MBSE across the digital thread
- Demonstrated experience with industry MBSE tools and modeling methodologies to successfully produce systems engineering models
- Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of UML / SysML modeling languages and experience applying this common structure to an MBSE solution
- Demonstrated proficiency in using a Rhapsody, MagicDraw or other UML based Architecture modeling tools
- Knowledge of standard architectural frameworks to include DoDAF, UPDM and/or UAF.

- Systems Integration of subsystems and multi-segment systems
- Signal (SIGINT/ELINT/MASINT) collection experience
- Autonomy and Machine Learning experience
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $83,500 - $155,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
