Maritime International, a division of L3Harris, is a leading global supplier of ITAR-Free controls and simulation solutions for marine, power and space sectors as well as naval communications, underwater acoustics, handling systems and visual landing aids. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as prime client contact on project matters including negotiations and secure client acceptance;
  • Ensure daily management of in field service engineers and provide support;
  • Review project performance against milestones and budget;
  • Coordinate project technical activities;
  • Manage cost plus invoicing including detailed back-up;
  • Resolve project work/scheduling problems by reprioritizing activities;
  • Evaluate project risks and develop mitigation plans, as required;
  • Support technical, cost and schedule aspects of proposals;
  • Discuss alternative solutions with customer including contractual changes;
  • Provide and offer after-sales technical support solutions;

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be eligible for registration in the Controlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the Government of Canada’s reliability status and Level 2 (secret) security clearance;
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering;
  • Experience in managing technical projects;
  • Experience in managing cost plus projects;
  • Experience in contract writing and with In Service Support contracts is an asset;
  • Strong organization, leadership and detail-oriented;
  • Knowledge of the L3MAPPS Marine Systems product line is an asset;
  • Advanced user of MS Office;
  • Bilingual French/English with proficient English written and spoken skills;
  • Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
