As Human Resources Technician (temp. 6m) you will:
Reporting to IMS Segment Manager Total Reward and working closely with the HR Coordinator located in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada office, the technician will provide technical support in human resources and benefits.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain data integrity in the HR management system, by creating employees' file, processing requests of change and codifying group insurance coverage, etc.
  • Welcome employees to the HR department.
  • Extract various reports from the HR management information system.
  • Prepare HR management statistics.
  • Present the Benefits Program to the new employees;
  • Provide support to the HR Coordinator and paymaster upon request.
  • Provide support to HR Business Partners.

Qualifications:

  • Collegial diploma or Certificate in Human Resources Management or in Administration; or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Significant skills for customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills, thoroughness and attention to detail.
  • Bilingualism (mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge for Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point);
  • Knowledge of Power BI – an asset
  • Important assets: Knowledge of HR Expert and PeopleSoft
  • Experience in a unionized environment – an asset

Operational requirements:

  • Must be eligible for registration to the Controlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtaining and maintaining the government of Canada’s “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance;
  • Location not accessible via public transportation, car required. Remote work from home during COVID.
