L3 Technologies MAS, located in Mirabel (QC), is a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies, Inc.

We are one of the leading suppliers in Canada of engineering, fleet management, aircraft maintenance, aerostructure design and manufacturing for our military customers (government departments and agencies) and civilians, including Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM).

We are currently looking to fill a permanent position.

As Financial Analyst at L3 MAS you will:
Under the Controller, the Financial Analyst, Governance and General Accounting will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial information requested by the management team and the head office, and will play a key role in ensuring compliance with the governance rules, as well as in supporting certain activities on project and overhead financial management.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate and perform internal control activities (update NARRATIVE CI, SOX tests, prepare representation letters, give support to Auditboard users);
  • Monitor updates of L3Harris accounting policies and communicate findings to those concerned within the division;
  • Provide governance and play a pivotal role among the finance teams;
  • Prepare annual tax records;
  • Be responsible for the generated fund management process (analyzes and forecasts);
  • Support and manage certain activities of the Financial Management Project group (Finance program);
  • Prepare and analyze certain aspects of overhead, explain the variations and prepare monthly forecasts; and
  • Support team managers on all requests from the management team and the head office.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent;
  • 10 years or more of relevant experience (experience working with a large business an asset);
  • Bilingualism, both spoken and written in French and English;
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) title;
  • Mastery of Excel software (advanced level) and good knowledge of the MS Office suite;
  • Knowledge of integrated systems (SAP and BPC are an asset);
  • Developed analytical mind, interpersonal skills, dynamism, organizational skills, autonomy;
  • Team spirit and strong interest in continuous improvement; and
  • Significant levels of engagement and accountability.

Operational requirements:

  • Must be eligible for registration to the Controlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtaining and maintaining the government of Canada’s “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance;
  • Location not accessible via public transportation, car required.
