Job Description:

The SOX compliance analyst will support the Global Business Services Controller and build a strong relationship with each functional area to assist them in driving internal SOX compliance.  Ensure control documentation is adequate and complete, assist in determining key controls to be tested, coordinates the testing of assigned significant processes and accounts by Internal Audit, assists in the evaluation of the design and operating effectiveness internal financial controls and the assessment of deficiencies identified, monitors managements implementation of corrective actions through remediation and provides periodic reports of gaps to management in conjunction with Internal Audit          

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform process walkthroughs to identify, validate, and document key/non-key SOX controls               
  • Assist management in developing action plans to remediate control deficiencies
  • Assist GBS functional areas in identifying risks, issues and developments for action and incorporate into SOX documentation                  
  • Perform quality review of internal controls in high risk areas           

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 12 years prior experience in SOX auditing, public accounting, finance, and internal controls or Graduate Degree and minimum of 10 years prior experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA certification               
  • Audit Board Experience               
  • Advanced analytical skills - Ability to solve problems creatively and adapt to changing work priorities                   
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills                 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite  
  • Knowledge of GAAP as well as general ledger and financial reporting skills       

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $78,000 - $144,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits including: health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
