About this role
L3Harris Technologies is seeking top candidates for HR Business Partner and HR Specialist roles who are graduating in May 2023 with a B.S. and / or M.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations.
Selected candidates would be considered for HR Business Partner or Specialist opportunities across a variety of disciplines, including compensation; employee engagement & experience; diversity, equity & inclusion; employee relations; learning & development; people analytics; and talent acquisition.
Successful candidates will
- Partner with client groups to build and execute talent plans in achievement of overall business strategy, objectives, and goals.
- Have a strong understanding and knowledge of analytics to enable and influence leaders to make sound talent decisions and promote employee engagement and experience.
- Identify and diagnose issues proactively and develop, recommend, and implement root cause solutions that enhance employee engagement / experience and business results in a timely manner.
- Participate in and / or lead projects and special initiatives within and outside the HR function as assigned.
- Promote high professional standards, positive interpersonal relationships, and demonstrates L3Harris core values of integrity, excellence, and respect.
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent area
Preferred additional skills
- HR experience via 1 or more summer internships.
- Ability to drive results in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
- Strong learning agility and intellectual curiosity with an aptitude for problem solving; ability to link situations to the bigger picture and challenge the status quo.
- Ability to work as a solid contributing member of a team as well as operate independently.
- Experience / familiarity with employee relations and organizational / management development.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, coaching, and consulting skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Demonstrated proficiency using Excel and PowerPoint to analyze data and make / present recommendations; experience with business intelligence tools is a plus.
