BEC manager is responsible for managing a team of employees ensuring compliance with Global Business Services policy surrounding cyber security ensuring that AP vendor master files are protected against organized crime groups attempting to impersonate vendors and obtain fraudulent payments. The BEC manager will be responsible of reviewing evidence to corroborate validity of vendor change requests and ensure possible suspicious or fraudulent activity in the vendor change requests as received by the BEC team by external vendors is properly detected and addressed.
- Ensure accurate vendor master file data for processing of timely payments
- Train and enforce company cybersecurity policies
- Verify changes in vendor management systems are appropriate according to company policies
- Collecting, processing and preserving digital evidence of vendor data change requests
- Provide training and certification for organization staff so that they can be aware of risks and try to avoid them
- Prepare action plans to decrease risk factors
- Ensure key controls are followed and properly documented
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 6 years of relevant experience in auditing, compliance, risk management, investigations, finance or related field or Graduate Degree and 4 years of previous relevant experience
- CPA, CFE, CIA or related certification
- Experience in Risk Management
- Experience with different system tools such as PeopleSoft, Perceptive Content, SAP
- Experience with vendor management processes
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $65,000- $120,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
