Job Description:

Looking for a motivated and energetic Program Manager to plan, establish and maintain the projects required for the continued support of Mission Comms Systyems on the highly visible VC-25A platform. This candidate will serve as a primary liaison between the company, aerospace partners, and government customers both while offsite and in Greenville. The candidate is responsible for directing the daily tasks and ongoing administrative functions of the program initiatives adhering to contractual obligations and subsequent reporting with general supervision.

The successful candidate must be able to create and maintain a collaborative work environment; set goals; give clear direction to the team and provide decisive and constructive feedback; empower individuals to take ownership for their assignments; assist the business area in identifying program growth opportunities in addition to facilitating capture of new opportunities with customers; and demonstrate and insist on ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values.

Essential Functions:

  • Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
  • Drives program execution and effectively identify goals and shortfalls in order to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing or current programs.
  • Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of multi-million dollar programs.
  • Participates in the negotiation of contract, subcontracts and contract changes.
  • Responsible for analyzing bids, assisting in development of WBS / deliverables / schedule / cashflow forecast.
  • Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans and performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
  • Acts as primary customer contract for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule and technical performance to ensure seamless execution.
  • Effectively communicates with all levels of co-workers, senior management and customer.
  • Works with Functions assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas to identify risks and management of those risks

Qualifications:

  • Active TS clearance preferred, with ability to obtain Yankee White clearance
  • Practical knowledge of project management
  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 4 years or prior relevant experience or Graduate degree with minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP
  • Strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to generate and support pragmatic solutions while maintaining high quality standards

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Earned Value monitoring and controlling
  • Practical experience in managing multiple complex operational activities and managing multiple functions
