Job Description:

The Lead Secure Systems Engineer (Anti-Tamper) is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of solutions for protection of critical mission critical technology. This person will provide senior Anti-Tamper (AT) Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to major acquisition programs. The AT engineer will have experience contributing to a team environment with the ability to interact positively with coworkers, suppliers, management, and customers for the purpose of developing creative solutions to technical problems. They will also have experience with creating information handling plans specific to Program Protection implementation and develop test plans and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology Engineering or Mathematics to include Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Computer Science, Engineering Science, or related field
  • Nine (9) years of experience in the fields of computer technology reverse engineering, Anti Tamper, or other systems security engineering (SSE) fields
  • Experience with Anti-Tamper, Reverse Engineering, Hardware Design, Embedded Software or Cryptography
  • Experience in design, development and fielding of SSE systems
  • Experience in solutions meeting robust SSE systems security requirements
  • Broad understanding of technology and working knowledge of DODI-S-5230.28
  • Identifying AT Critical Program Information (CPI)
  • Defining AT architectures
  • Deriving and documenting AT requirements
  • Writing and maintaining AT Plans
  • Supporting AT Integration & Test
  • Executing Verification & Validation of AT requirements
  • Preparing and presenting briefings to internal and external programs and customers such as Tri-Service Committee, Red Team, ATEA, and V&V team to obtain AT approvals for US-deployed and exported military systems

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Top Secret/SCI clearance or DoD Top Secret with current SSBI within last 5 years desired
  • Cyber Certifications in accordance with DoDD 8570/DoDD 8140 such as CISSP, GSLC, CEH
  • Aircraft/weapons integration experience
  • Experience with Embedded software or hardware, Hardware design, architecture, or integration.
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (Cameo a plus) and DODAF views
