Job Description:

Mission / Ground “Group B” Project Engineer required to support Military Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Mission and Ground Systems. Primary responsibility is Development, Procurement, Certification and test of Systems Hardware and COTS Software in Aircraft, Ground Systems, full Mission System Crew Trainer and Flight Following Systems.

The Project Engineer is responsible for and bears authority for the program under the direction of the Program Manager (PM). This includes but is not limited to:

Planning and execution of program activities
Documenting, and approval of program plans
Ensuring life cycle process adherence
Risk identification and management
Overall program coordination during the program lifecycle

To this end the individual Engineering Functional Task Leaders (Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Specialty Engineering, Logistic Engineering, Technical Publications, Field Support Engineers, etc.) report to/and take direction from the PE for the assigned program operations.

The Project Engineer is also responsible for program technical performance that extends beyond the "Engineering" functions, to ensuring technical compliance within the total operations activities (i.e. logistic support, continued airworthiness, and operational readiness). In addition, Project Engineers are the key technical interfaces to Customers and have the responsibility/opportunity to interact with Customers at every phase of our program lifecycles.

Qualifications:

Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance is a requirement
Requires comprehensive level knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have in-depth knowledge of project management. Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
International travel is required

Airworthiness Requirements as applied to military aircraft
Imagery Intelligence, Signals Intelligence, Direction Finding Systems
Computer network architectures with a working knowledge of Multiple Independent Levels of Security Systems or Multi-Level Security Systems
Export Compliance/ITAR Regulations
