Job Location: Greenville, TX
Responsible for leading a Hangar, Dock & Line team consisting of hourly and salary employees, working with a bargaining unit, to complete aircraft modification projects.
- Responsible for day-to-day supervision of assigned team in their assigned roles
- Maintains Team workmanship standards established by Company, Customer Requirements, and FAA Requirements
- Maintains budget controls for work assignments, overtime goals and policies.
- Work with Customer and Government agencies, and their representatives, to ensure Quality Standards.
- Work with other departments within the Company to establish tools, parts, training, test procedures.
- Work with Human Resources to obtain & maintain effective Employee/Labor relationships of the Team and Union.
- Maintain reports needed to keep Management up-to-date as project progresses.
- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
- MUST have ACTIVE Clearance
- Leads, directs, and reviews the work of professionals or lower level supervisors.
- Communicates within and outside own function to explain and gain cooperation on policies and practices.
- Makes moderate to substantial improvements to processes, systems, and solutions.
- Plans and establishes goals and objectives for a team with direct impact on the short-term operational results for the department.
- Requires practical knowledge in leading/managing projects, processes, and employees and has strong knowledge within professional discipline.
- Must possess a working knowledge of military, commercial, or general aviation aircraft.
- Position requires the ability and willingness to support any shift.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Minimum of 8 years supervisorial experience with general aviation, military aircraft, or aircraft modifications.
- A&P License preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Position requires the ability to obtain and/or maintain a DOD Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
