Job Description:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to management and oversight of the daily activities of a team of technical editors. Successful candidate will act as L3Harris technical interface to the customer for all Technical Editing activities across the site. Will provide direction, guidance and mentoring to direct reports on the requirements and job responsibilities. Will have in-depth knowledge of the types of courseware and publications required to support operations and/or maintenance of military and commercial aircraft and associated systems.
Essential Functions:
- Team leadership
- Staffing to include forecasting and hiring
- Experience developing, monitoring, analyzing and taking action based on team operational metrics
- Must possess strong computer skills (Microsoft Office programs)
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Position requires the ability to obtain a Secret DOD Security Clearance; requires U.S. Citizenship.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirements.
- Previous experience leading and delivery activities

Desired additional Skills:
- Basic aircraft and technical publications knowledge
- Basic understanding of maintenance or operational standard operating procedures and practices
- Past experience as an operator or maintainer on one or more airborne ISR assets
- Knowledge of aircraft manuals including TCTOs, MIL-STD-38784, MIL-PRF-7700, S1000D and ATA formats
