Job Title: Assoc, Finance - Proposal Analyst (New Grad-Greenville, TX)
Job Location: Greenville, Texas
Job Description: The associate analyst participates as a contributing member of the Finance proposal team which develops, plans and schedules price proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications. The associate analyst works under the guidance of other senior analysts in this department.
Essential Functions:
The associate will assist in the research and analysis of historical data and the development of cost models to support proposal efforts. They shall ensure the use of current published pricing rates, estimating factors and cost buildup algorithms. Bid resources will be translated into final selling price using pricing software and/or Microsoft Excel.
The associate will prepare financial analysis presentations and participate in program proposal reviews with management. Responsibilities include assembling cost, schedule, performance and technical elements from functional departments into cost proposals for submission to customers. The associate shall ensure final submissions are compliant with respect to company policies, customer requests, and U. S. Government regulations when applicable.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business field. Experience in cost estimating, cost analysis, proposal pricing, or other financial roles such as program controls/business management preferred.

- Aptitude to read and understand complex requirement documents
- Ability to work across diverse organizations as a team player
- Capacity to perform well in a fast paced, multitasking environment under deadlines
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with FAR principles
- Understanding of cost accounting principles
- Knowledge of effective work breakdown structures
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Excel pivot tables, and mathematical functions
- Knowledge of Adobe Pro and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Experience with ProPricer or other pricing software tools
