Job Location:Fort Wayne, IN
This position will be for an electrical subsystem engineer within the Space & Airborne Systems (SAS) Segment of L3Harris. This team, located in the Ft. Wayne, IN facility, that designs, builds, integrates, and tests, electro-optical imaging payloads. These instruments contain complex analog, power, digital, and FPGA electronics. Responsibilities will include support electrical system architecture, support system requirement definition, technical documentation development, and support requirement verification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university
- 4+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience
- Electrical system design experience
- Experience allocating system level requirements to applicable sub-systems and components
- Circuit design experience
- Technical specification and Interface Control Document generation experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
- TS/SCI clearance
- Ability to travel occasionally, <10%, to customer and vendor sites
- Root-cause troubleshooting experience
- Analog & digital design experience
- FPGA design experience
- Space electronics design experience
