The successful candidate will be experienced in performing major and minor scheduled and unscheduled maintenance IAW military T.Os, commercial maintenance manuals, and service bulletins of aircraft powerplant systems and components. They will also provide technical assistance and guidance during aircrew de-briefs and perform towing, marshalling, and positioning of aircraft on flight line. Perform other related tasks as required in support of engineering, testing, and production for the program.
- Aircraft related Associates degree or A&P license + a minimum of 4 years aircraft maintenance experience, or HS diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience.
- Must have an ACTIVE DoD TOP Secret Clearance.
- Working knowledge of Periodic Maintenance Information Cards/Maintenance Requirement Cards.
- Experience with the Navy’s NALCOMIS/OOMA computer system is preferred
- Must have powerplant/mechanical experience in any of the following: P-3, P-8, 737,CFM56-7, T-56 engines or other relevant aircraft experience.
- Must be able to read, interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, T.O. specs and engineering specifications.
- Must complete a flight line physical.
- Must provide your own tools.
- Must wear approved Personal Protective Equipment ( PPE )
