L3Harris Technologies has an opening for a Space Integrated Protection Strategy (IPS) Specialist for an important national Security Program.
The successful candidate will support a high performing team of Government and Contractor professionals to support and conduct operational testing of SW tools, courses of action and procedures in support of the Space Warfighting Mission. The candidate will be pivotal in supporting the tactical and operational testing supporting advanced capabilities. The successful candidate will have experience planning, preparing, conducting and reporting testing activities. The successful candidate will also have demonstrated the ability operate in a dynamic and high energy environment with constantly changing tasking and priorities. This position will be supporting the Space Superiority Business Division of the Space Superiority and Geospatial Sector within the Space and Airborne Systems Segment.
- Generates test scenarios
- Creates test plans and procedures
- Conducts system-level testing in real and simulated environments.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Satellite operations experience
- Satellite command & control experience
- Satellite mission planning experience
- Exercise planning, vulnerability assessment, launch & reentry
- Aerospace Engineering or other equivalent degree
- Familiar with DoD/NRO spacecraft
- Expertise in Astrodynamics
- Experience using astrodynamics tools such as STK, GMAT, and ODTK
- Work is at customer site
- TS/SCI with CI Poly
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Effective organization level communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
