Job Description:

  • Setup, document, manage, maintain, and monitor hardware configuration of on-site Dell systems
  • Update systems by improving the components, layout, and design of Dell Blade system for increased efficiency
  • Monitor hardware for end-of-patches/end-of-life and make recommendations for logistics planning
  • Maintain hardware components and configuration of the system, including updates are current per STIG requirements (BIOS, security, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot hardware-related issues in support of virtual environment, software installation/execution, and continuous monitoring to include metrics
  • Assist in maintenance, management and troubleshooting of VMware vSphere environment; including but not limited to ESXi servers and virtual machines
  • Support fast-moving Agile projects and participate in SCRUM team activities to include writing epics, user stories and tasks.
  • Support the project management team by producing technical briefings/reports and communicating with the customer, as needed
  • Support network connection troubleshooting between virtual machine as well as connections with external systems


  • 4+ years relevant experience with Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related STEM field from an accredited university OR Master’s Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • 4+Experience with VMware virtual environments including vMotion, vCenter, vSAN and vRealize
  • 4+ years experience supporting/performing HW analysis (heat, weight, power, etc.)
  • 4+ years experience with the preparation and review of diagrams and technical drawings
  • 2+ years experience of networking concepts including routers, switches, firewalls, as well as cable selection to support interconnection and powering of selected computing equipment
  • 4+ years experience managing and monitoring virtualization environment, including performance metrics and analysis
  • VMware Certified Associate (VCA) certification

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • TS/SCI w/Poly clearance highly desired
  • DOD 8570 IAT Level II, IAM Level II, or IASAE Level II or higher certification required – includes Security+ CE, GSEC, SSCP, CISA, GCIH, GCED, CISSP, CASP, CAP, GSLC, CISM, or CSSLP – at time of hire or within 30 days
  • Familiarity with drafting practices and DoD drawing requirements
  • Experience with setup and maintenance of Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS)
  • Experience with SMPTv3 Hardware Monitoring and Dell Diagnostic tools
  • Experience with C2 center/service system or C2 application system and SSA operations 
  • Experience with Software Configuration Management tools (Git/SVN/Bitbucket)
  • Candidate must be willing to submit to a counterintelligence polygraph
