Job Description:

L3Harris Space Superiority Division is looking for a Program Manager in Colorado Springs for an Counter Communication System (CCS). This program falls within the Special Mission portfolio in the Space Superiority division. The Program Manager in this role will be responsible for managing a annual $20M sustainment program with development efforts. This position will have a direct interface with internal customers, suppliers, and stakeholder leadership.

Essential Functions:

• Manage the cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements of a program through all phases from inception to completion
• Responsible for internal customer satisfaction, maintaining customer communication, and the overall management of the customer relationship
• Responsible for the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budget, and financial terms/conditions of contract
• Ensure that all resources such as engineering, staffing, production, and facilities are available to support existing programs and anticipitated new programs
• Work with internal customers to determine needs, requirements, and new business opportunities
• Interact internally with leaders and customers on significant business matters and partner with functional leadership towards success and continuous improvement
• Direct the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, business and administrative areas
• Manage a team with focus on policy and strategy implementation
• Develop and manage programmatic and financial forecasts

Qualifications:

• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
• 2+ years’ experience in planning, organizing, and directing
• Objective thinker, problem solver with ability to execute challenging tasks to completion
• Experience in Program Execution and process including Risk and Change Management

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
• Development program experience including experience using Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
• 6+ years of leadership experience
