Job Description:

Essential Functions:

  • Functional knowledge and experience with DevSecOps capabilities:Subject matter expert in RHEL Linux
    • Knowledge of infrastructure automation with Ansible.
    • Continuous integration and build experience with Jenkins and knowledge of Jenkins DSL.
    • Creation of software builds and dependency management using Gradle.
    • Software configuration management using Git.
    • Artifact repository management using Nexus.
  • Familiarity with VRF/VM configuration and maintance.
  • Knowledge of VMware vCenter Server.
  • Ability to use and configure hardware systems: ESXi, KVM, Cisco Switch.
  • Functional in LDAP and IPA.
  • Knowledge of Puppet Automation Software experience.
  • Red Hat Linux System Administration experience with ability to build / diagnose / troubleshoot.
  • Works independently and in teams to provide architecture-level oversight for multiple projects.
  • Work with project lead engineers to ensure engineering designs are sound and fit overall architectural concepts.
  • Implement/maintain strong system architectures to include physical and virtual environments.
  • Work with project lead engineers to ensure project schedules are being met and identify any constraints/concerns.
  • Provide input to proposals and responses to customer technical requests.
  • Support/facilitate customer meetings and ensure compliance with project requirements and overall architectural design.
  • Provide SME-level engineering knowledge and support; includes briefings to customer, vendor and procurement support, and system evaluations.
  • Provide technology refresh, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk supportability, and effectiveness analyses for the system architecture.
  • Travel up to 10%
  • Work will be performed on-site. Remote work will be approved when necessary.


  • Education:DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 certification.
    • Bachelor’s Degree and/or a minimum of 9 years of prior related experience, or
    • Graduate Degree or equivalent with 7 years of prior related experience.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance required.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 3 certification.
  • VMware certifications.
  • Security Technology to include encryption (HAIPE, IPSec, IKEv2, PKI).
  • Familiarity with storage devices/appliances.
  • Familiarity with network modeling, simulation and analysis.
  • Ability to contribute to System architecture/definition, use cases, system performance analysis.
    • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a technical information environment.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Active TS//SCI w/CI poly Security Clearance is desirable.

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $88000 - $164000 (salary ranges in other locations could differ). This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
