As CF-18 Technician Support (Supply & Tool Control) at L3 MAS you will:

  • Ensure that supply procedures are followed and respected;
  • Support and carry out annual or cyclical inventories for warehouses, repair accounts, and client accounts;
  • Fill Demand and Return transactions (CF2227) for A & C class components and bring to the 1 AMS Supply Section for processing;
  • Pickup received parts from 1 AMS Supply Section and restock Phase Vidmars (To be implemented);
  • Implement and keep up-to-date a Phase Excel spreadsheet to keep track of Supply demands;
  • Perform research and obtain quotes to provide to the 1AMS Local Purchasing section for items required by the Phase Team;
  • Provide weekly Report of parts IN & OUT and also of HPRs;
  • Consumable parts (C Class) inventory and Min/Max ordering;
  • Perform verification of Shelf Life components;
  • Package components for shipping and fill up CF942 for Tech Inspector to inspect and sign;
  • Must obtain the DND404 in order to perform pick-up and drop-off of parts to NDT, Ref Shop, MDC and AVPOL;
  • Report the “Not Stocks” demands to DND Phase management in order to take action with LCMM;
  • Prepare, ship and receive items requiring calibration and update Phase TEMMIS Database;
  • Implement and assemble Phase Kits (For each trade);
  • As required, perform monthly Torque Wrench verification using Versa Tester;
  • Support in maintaining Phase HAZMAT Lockers;
  • Inspect and Maintain Tool Boards as per C-05-005-021/AM-001 Tool Control System Maintenance Policy;
  • Work on continuous improvements of the Phase Supply System;
  • Follow local AF9000 and Air Worthiness policies;
  • Support the team in the accomplishment of the daily tasks;
  • Provide services to customers by answering their questions and responding to their complaints.
  • DEC or equivalent (military equivalent);
  • Knowledge of the basic concepts of shipping (packaging) and receiving;
  • Valid permit for being able to perform the job (vehicle and forklift);
  • Sound knowledge of supply publications;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Very Familiar with the following software applications: DRMIS (Defence Resource Management Information System), CGCM (Canadian Government Catalogue of Materiel), CFSS Web search tool, and the search tool for priority requests and tracking systems.

Operational requirements :

  • Must be eligible for registration to the Controlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtaining and maintaining the government of Canada’s “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance;
