Job Description:

Scheduling and execution of repair work orders in a electronics manufacturing environment, coordinating products and materials through various phases of repair and overhaul. Implements planned repair and overhaul schedules, labor loading and capacity requirements. Reviews repair failures to determine materials and parts requirements to ensure materials are available according to repair schedules.

Essential Functions:

  • • Responsible for all projects assigned to the organizational unit with a focus on Aftermarket Services and repair.
    • Generate schedules and drives day to day execution results.
    • Accountable for managing cost, schedule and quality as related to functions within the Aftermarket Repairs Organization.
    • Directly participate in establishing and administering many centralized functional projects.
    • Lead and manage matrixed co-workers both within and external to the Manufacturing Operations Directorate.
    • Using a working knowledge of MRP; candidate will generate and maintain required repair parts orders.
    • Acts as an advisor to Operations team members to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems.
    • Exerts influence in the development of overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.
    • Incorporate lean initiatives that drive cost savings.


  • Secret Clearance Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • 1 year experience with an MRP System.
  • 1 year experience generating and maintaining customer orders.
  • Experience with process improvement tools including, Lean, Six Sigma with
    white/yellow/green belt preferred.
  • Strong Tableau & Microsoft Office skills, highly proficient in Excel (e.g., Excel
    formulas, V-lookups, pivot tables) and has skill in preparing tables, graphs, and
  • Experience in a production manufacturing environment either as a production
    planner, master scheduler, demand planner, and/or supply planner
  • Experience in repairs environment.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from
    management peers and subordinates.
  • Strong results and goal/deadline-oriented work ethic, high attention to detail and
    be flexible.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to develop and bring to completion
    multiple assignments concurrently.
