Job Title: Manufacturing Production Support Engineer for Electronic Warfare (RF 2nd Shift)

Job Description:

As the Manufacturing Production Support Engineer, you will be responsible for testing, evaluating, and troubleshooting Electronic Warfare production Microwave Circuit Assembly (MCA) units. You will assist technicians with any persistent failures as well as provide any improvements on the quality of testing.

At initial hire, you will be trained under the System Integration & Test Department to ensure knowledge of Production units is understood as well as learn what the various development and test processes are for supporting unit verification. You will then be transferred over to Manufacturing Department as the technical expert of the specific production area. You will provide status to program management/operations team as needed.

Essential Functions:

Ability to identify root cause and apply corrective action
Coordinate with Systems Engineering Team, Systems Engineering Integration & Test Team and Operations staff to resolve production issues and reduce cycle time
Ability to interpret drawings, diagrams, schematics, test procedures, and test requirements
Identify any discrepancies within testing and provide input for process improvements
Update manufacturing test procedures as necessary

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience, or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Active Secret Clearance
Experience with high-speed digital and RF test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, oscilloscope, logic analyzers, etc.)
Advanced experience with troubleshooting RF/Digital circuits to the component level
Experience with OSHA requirements and ESD best practices
Able to work 2nd shift

Preferred Additional Skills:

Excellent organization skills
Excellent technical and analytical troubleshooting skills
Experience with System Integration and Design Verification Testing
Effective communication skills in a collaborative team environment
Familiarity with Boundary Scan/LabVIEW/MATLAB/other tools for instrument control.
Experience with developing Test Plans and Procedures
