Job Description:

Intermediate professional with practical knowledge of job area. Works under moderate supervision to set objectives for own job area. Communicates with contacts inside and outside own team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures Identifies and addresses changes within own job area. Works to achieve operational targets with some impact on departmental results

  • Perform maintenance and management tasks associated with ERP system tools (Costpoint ERP; FactoryLogix MES; TipQA QMS)
    • User group and user maintenance in the tools
    • System functionality testing – testing existing funtionality prior to deployment
    • Support new functionality testing – validate the software’s ability to function as expected, needed for the business area where being implemented
    • Document software tool issues, bugs. Coordinate with internal team and software provider to achieve resolution
  • Support deployment and functional use of ERP tools.
    • Deliver training on ERP tools - deliver training to users, including tracking training completion.
    • Support maintenance and upkeep of existing training content.
    • Develop new, additonal training material based on existing functionality lacking training matearil and/or new functionality being utilized.
    • Support development and/or update of business processes through documentation and communication.
    • Support data reporting and trend analysis tasks.
      • Identify opportunities for reporting, dashboarding of data from the business system tools. Support the deployment of data visualization within the facility.
    • Support hardware deployments and troubleshooting, providing effectiving liason and communications with end user and IT.
  • Works under general supervision.
  • May be responsible for entire projects or processes within job area.
  • May be responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSAs)

  • Communicates with parties within and outside of own department, which may include conultants/ vendors. Comfortable working cross-functionally.
  • Opportunities for problem solving and innovation are general and may require understanding of broader set of issues.
  • Works to achieve operational targets with moderate impact on departmental results.
  • Comfortable with public speaking, presenting training material to an audience
  • Competent in developent and maintaining project plans, schedules, and action lists

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools – Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Familiarity with Visio, Sharepoint, Power BI, and Access preferred
  • Practical knowledge of project management preferred.
  • 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 1 year of prior related experience in manufacturing, business process management or information technology.
  • 1-3 years of experience managing or supporting ERP systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with barcode technology and its implementation preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times
  • Prolonged standing
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
