Job Description:
Experienced Windows System Administrator primarily responsible for site system administration and operations. The person in this position would primarily be someone with a Windows system administrator background, but shall have a level of proficiency on network management, system patching and hardening, database management, deployment automation and end user support to the desktop level. The person would provide direction and guidance to a local site team to support local site operations and must be able to communicate technical concerns and solutions to varying levels of management, program engineering teams other peers across the enterprise. The person in this position should also have experience enterprise level networks and domains and shall responsible for leading IT projects at the local level.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the system configuration and security posture assigned site systems
- Install/integrate complex software and hardware solutions as required to support engineering teams
- Lead local IT staff and projects to improve local infrastructure, support new capabilities
- Maintain accreditation/ATO of assigned systems by supporting scans, patching and vulnerability management processes
- Manage assigned tickets on the IT ServiceNow system and maintain an SLA at a predetermined level as defined by management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and six years or Masters plus and 4 years of experience managing Windows domains
- One year of experience supporting VMware/Citrix environments
- Two years of experience with scripting and creating automated processes
- Current/active TS/SCI security clearance and current CI/Poly
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP or any DoD 8570 IAT level I or higher approved certification
- Experience with the Risk Management Framework process ICD-503, System Hardening and Certification and Accreditation processes
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Four years of experience supporting Red Hat, Centos or ubuntu Linux versions
- Two years of experience managing a Microsoft 2016 or higher enterprise level domain
- One year of experience with Microsoft and Linux patch management and update services
- Experience with KG175 devices
- Understanding of Backup and DR solutions and implementation
- Cisco CCNA or higher certification
- One year of experience with Microsoft Exchange
