Job Description:
Develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified, sensitive, or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Researches and implements federal security regulations, maintaining knowledge and awareness of interdisciplinary compliance requirements (finance, cyber, information technology, and trade compliance). Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, retaining records, and access by personnel or visitors to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education training and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Collects, assimilates, and interprets intelligence information and disseminates to the appropriate stakeholder or investigating authority.

Essential Functions:
-Assists in the development and implementation of policies and operating procedures supporting government, customer agency requirements
-Conducts security education classes and security self-inspection audits
-Prepares manuals outlining regulations and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records and for granting personnel and visitor’s access to restricted records and materials
-Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken
-Oversees the installation and maintenance of all alarm and access control systems
-Leads a team of employees and produces results
-Communicates with all levels of employees and government customers
-Troubleshoots issues and works independently
-The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.
Qualifications:
- Active Secret Clearance-Requires proficient knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
- May have practical knowledge of project management.
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience

Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and Server operating systems
- Working knowledge of all applicable DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, DoD Instruction 52.05.11, NISPOM, & ICD 705 requires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
