  • Responsible for monitoring and overseeing all products within the portfolio of assigned accounts as the Account Manager.
  • Identifies areas for strategic growth and expansion with existing client base.
  • Achieves agreed upon sales targets for Communication Systems, services and solutions.
  • Provides complete and appropriate solutions for every customer to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
  • Plays an integral part in maintaining and generating sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
  • Communicates and executes on winning market plans and capture strategies with existing customers and new customers after transitioning to account management stage.

Essential Functions:

As a member of the Aust/NZ Account management Team you will:

Apply direct sales into the Australian and New Zealand market space responsibility over the entire sales process for the assigned market.

  • Responsible for all stages of customer interaction from initial contact, through final sales and follow-on contact.
  • Identify new market opportunities that build on the company’s solutions in assigned market(s)..
  • Secure relationships with business partners and customers and vendors in the assigned market(s)..
  • Identify and lead efforts to include customer/opportunity cultivation and, sales presentations and demonstrations, proposal writing, and cost inputs based on known customer budget limits, and the broader market. Identify opportunities and potential competition, document key customer requirements obtained from meetings with key customers and customer decision makers.
  • Develop an annual target of new business to help the current growth in the assigned market(s). Build a pipeline of deals into a CRM database to inform leadership of potential opportunities.
  • Keep up on trends, changes, and competitor actions that might affect L3Harris' position within the special operations and markets.
  • Identify key conferences and trade shows – be the primary POC to schedule booth space and preparation for current and future events.
  • Travel in support of trade shows, demos and customer meetings.
  • Show initiative, take ownership of tasks and exhibit leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
  • 5 - 10 years of related experience with Defence acquisition processes and customer(s) operations.
  • 5 - 10 years of related experience in selling complex solutions to assigned market(s).
  • 5 - 10 years of related experience with military communication and solutions
  • Experience working with international licensing, ITAR practices.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Active clearance.
