The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist identifies all actions and required information related to the requirements, development, and execution of the Life Cycle Logistics processes, and material fielding support to projects and products.
Responsibilities include: Understanding of acquisition logistics, responsible for project/product level integrated support planning and identification of support requirements. Performs and coordinates detailed analyses to ensure the integration of support considerations into the design process. Evaluates design concepts and develops support data and products. Participates in the integrated product development team process. Responsible for development of Logistic Support Analysis (LSA)/LSA Record (LSAR) Data, Sparing Estimates, Life Cycle Cost Analysis and Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) development. Prepares cost estimates and technical writing in support of proposal development efforts. Develops Basis of Estimates (BOE) in support of new work initiatives.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of experience with LSA & LSAR, GEIA-STD-007, MIL-STD-1388-2A / 2B or MIL-PRF-49506. Strong written & verbal communications skills. Applicant must be fluent in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. MS Access experience is a plus. Applicant must be fully knowledgeable of and understand how LSAR data is integrated into and supports the design and support activities of programs.
U.S. Citizenship Required. Current Secret security clearance desired, with ability to obtain TS.
