Job Description:

At L3Harris Commercial Training System we develop the hardware and software that build simulators for commercial pilot training. For the Senior Software Engineer-Full Stack Web Developer role, you will interact with various web interfaces and software that supports and creates the simulation-based training products. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will be leading the work on both the front end and back-end of the various platforms for pilot training.

Essential Functions:

Design and produce work packages to maintain and advance existing development efforts in simulation technologies
Lead, manage, and review progress and deliverables for work packages with other employees and subcontractors
Develop various applications working with the LCMS back-end
Develop Web based UI for various applications
Coordinate and lead development projects
Provide technical support for customers

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Physics with 4 Years of related experience; or, Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
Proficiency working with Web frameworks (like React or Angular)
Strong experience working with MVC and Entity frameworks.
Experience with cloud-based web platforms (Azure, AWS, or others)
Must be detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication.
Must possess exceptional time management and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Strong problem resolution and skills
Solid foundation in C#.
Ability to design and manipulate relational databases. SQL Server and SQL are required
Experience with Visual Studio and comparable Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
Strong verbal, written, and active listening communication skills.
Experience with single page web applications
Experience with PWA, Web Assemblies
Experience with real-time simulation-based products
