Position Overview:

Under the L3Harris Communications Australia Training Development Manager, the Instructional Design Specialist will work within Technical Customer Service department to provide training development and delivery to the Commonwealth of Australia (CoA).

Essential Responsibilities:

a. training analysis;
b. training design;
c. training delivery;
d. training evaluation;
e. material development;
f. equipment operation and support services; and
g. planning and advice.
The Instructional Design Specialist will be required to work as part of a team, as an individual to engage with other Engineers, Sales Specialists, Program Managers (PM), Account Managers (AM) and Customers. Based in Brisbane, Australia, with domestic travel as required. The Instructional Design Specialist will have the following range of responsibilities:
a. Responsible for developing training packages and supporting material for Land 200 Tranche Two.
b. Assist the provision of training and assessment on L3Harris products and equipment to CoA.
c. May assist with the design of minor communication systems to satisfy customer needs.
d. Provides follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications.
e. May install, configure, operate, maintain, repair or modify customer equipment or software.
f. Analyzes and troubleshoots equipment/system failures to determine cause and recommends and/or performs corrective action.
