Job Description:

The Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment of L3Harris Technologies is seeking seeking a skilled Program Manager with a strong background in Capital Projects and Supply Chain to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with L3Harris indirect procurement activity and will bring order and discipline to a large acquisition project. They will supervise and maintain the overall equipment and material budget for the LSRM program as well as the equipment schedules and deadlines to ensure our acquisition meets program needs. This role requires the ability effectively partner with functional organizations and program leadership to accomplish our expansion mission. The role will report to the Director of Strategic Infrastructure and be based remotely.

Essential Functions:

  • Function as the point-of-contact between the program, Functional Management, the Customer, subcontractors, cross-sector groups, and other stakeholders to coordinate efforts to ensure successful resolution of program issues.

  • Responsible for briefing internal and external customers, as well as upper management, on all aspects of the program.

  • The PM directs the work of functional employees in the execution of the assigned projects while establishing and monitoring performance to schedules, plans and milestones. The selected individual must set the highest ethical standards for self and others.

  • The PM will be responsible for developing and maintaining cost and schedule baselines for suppliers, ensuring these baselines support the overall program performance.

  • The selected candidate must be able to support frequent travel to work sites across Aerojet Rocketdyne, travel 25%-50%.

  • Ability to obtain US Security Clearance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior Aerospace and Defense experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior Aerospace and Defense experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior Aerospace and Defense experience.

  • 3+ years of earned value management (EVM) experience.

  • 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams.

  • 5+ years of experience managing subcontractors and/or suppliers.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • PMP certification.

  • Experience managing capital expenditures.

  • Knowledge of strategic missile programs (Trident, Minute Man, Sentinel, NGI, etc).

  • Proven team player with the ability to work effectively with others; has outstanding customer relationship skills and demonstrated professionalism.

  • Ability to support multiple efforts, changing priorities and can maintain professional behavior in high-pressure situations.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $150,000.00 - $278,000.00. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $130,500.00 - $242,500.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
