Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking a Program Manager within the Reconnaissance Business Area. The Sr Specialist, Program Management will provide leadership and guidance with bids, proposals, and all aspects of the execution of awarded USAF Big Safari -135 aircraft contracts. This position will be responsible for sustaining Program Management processes and approaches with Programmed Depot Maintenance and Modification, Installation, Test & Data efforts across 135 airborne platforms and directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the bids, proposals, and all aspects of execution of program contracts
- Lead cross-functional meetings for program
- Ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines
- The selected individual must set the highest ethical standards for self and others.
- Minimal travel is required.
Qualifications:
- Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- TS/SCI security clearance preferred
- RC-135 experience is highly desirable
- Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) knowledge is preferred
- Experience with integrated program scheduling, risk management, subcontracts, and EVMS.
- Experience managing internal and external customer relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Team player, proactive, and customer-oriented with a sense of urgency to accomplish a given task or goal
- Excellent analytical, project management, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
